The Wellness Center
Our History and Vision
The Wellness Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community fitness center. It was started in 2006 after separating from the Phillips County Medical Clinic and has been run under a board of directors with a handful of employees and many dedicated volunteers,
Due in large part to generous grants from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and the Morgan and Cole Foundation, The Wellness Center was able to renovate and relocate to the former Phillipsburg armory. We have been fortunate to have also received grants for new equipment from the same foundations and a large donation of equipment from TAMKO’s CEO Mr. Humphreys.
We seek to improve the health and well-being of our community through our operation here.
